The Tip-To-Tip Longhorn Measurement APP is designed to give an approximate distance between horns. As the first mobile application designed for longhorn measurement, we are constantly improving the technology used. As technology advances, Tip-To-Tip measurements will continue to become more precise. To learn how to have the greatest amount of accuracy, follow the steps in the APP.

STEP ONE

Make sure you are in a well-lit area with high contrast. For best results, take measurements outdoors on a sunny day or indoors with plenty of light.

STEP TWO

Make sure the horns are facing your device head-on with both horns in frame. Snap your photos quickly! A tripod or monopod can be helpful when taking your measurements.

STEP THREE

Tip-to-Tip Longhorn Measurement APP works best when the animals are comfortable and calm. Measuring after meals can increase the success of accurate measurements.
